DistroKid's Musician Plus and Ultimate plans let you choose a custom future release date. The basic Musician plan does not include that control. If you plan artwork, YouTube content, social posts, email promotion or other campaign activity around a specific launch day, being able to schedule the release is materially more useful than simply uploading and waiting for stores to publish it.
