Do artists keep their royalties?
LANDR says Studio includes unlimited distribution and that artists keep 100% of the royalties LANDR collects for standard distribution. Cover-song licensing can carry an additional fee when distributing to downloadable stores.

Where LANDR can simplify an independent artist stack
The strongest LANDR case is consolidation. If you are currently paying separately for mastering, distribution and production extras, one bundle can reduce the number of services you manage. If your existing tools already work well, the same bundle can create unnecessary overlap.
Finish the mix first: mastering should polish a balanced mix, not repair arrangement, clipping or major vocal problems.
Master next: compare the LANDR master with your unmastered version at matched loudness instead of assuming louder automatically means better.
Then distribute: use LANDR Distribution if the combined workflow is genuinely simpler than maintaining a separate distributor.
